Three fillings in Grandma’s kitchen
When Cindy was little, her grandmother made three kinds: savoury glutinous rice, white bean paste, and peanut filling. The family made these kuih for festivals and when honouring their ancestors.
Cindy remembers her father liking sweet preserved radish in the savoury filling. It is one small detail of the way her family enjoyed their peach kuih.
Three generations of her family have eaten this traditional Teochew kuih. These are the fillings she remembers from childhood; they are not a list of flavours currently available to order.

Inside the savoury rice filling
The savoury version Cindy describes combines glutinous rice with Chinese sausage, dried shrimp, shiitake mushrooms and peanuts. The pink wrapper carries a pressed pattern, giving each kuih its familiar peach shape.
Our menu may call it Teo Chew Png Kuih or Teochew Png Kuih. Check the dated menu for the next listed batch, its ingredients, box size, price and pickup arrangements.
